Arrivals and Departures

I’ve clearly got travel on the brain. George and I are traveling to Drupalcon Szeged via Vienna and Budapest for a little pre-conference touring next Thursday and I can’t wait.
Before I leave, however, I need to announce a few more line-up changes for the Palantir team. Welcome to Brad Nowak and Matthew Butcher (mbutcher) and adieu and bon voyage to Rob Thompson and Elliot Vernon!
Brad joins Palantir team from the Art Institute of Chicago, where he was responsible for the management of both the daily operations and projects of the Technical Support Services department and its staff. Brad will be managing project communications, resources, schedules and budgets for Palantir and we are very excited.
Matt specializes in content management systems, Linux system integration, and Open Source technologies. He has been an active participant in Open Source technologies for over a decade. Along with Learning Drupal 6 Module Development, Matt has also written Mastering OpenLDAP, Managing and Customizing OpenCms 6, and Building Websites with OpenCms and is hard at work on another Drupal title. Matt and his family are moving back to Chicago this week (!) before he joins the Palantir delegation at DrupalCon Szeged.
Rob as been with Palantir since last May as our resident Collage guru. Prior to joining Palantir Rob was a Senior Technical Consultant with Serena Software for their Collage product. Rob will be going solo as a consultant and recovering from arm surgery (wake boarding accident). We wish him the best of success and a speedy recovery!
And, alas, we must find our way without our beloved intern, Elliot, who must return to NYU. He will be missed.
