The Palantir-developed Web site for the School of the Art Institute of Chicago has been recognized by the Webby Awards as an Official Honoree, a distinction that recognizes sites exhibiting remarkable achievement.
The Art Institute of Chicago and the University of Chicago Law School, two sites developed by Palantir, were selected as Silver Winners by the International Academy of Visual Arts in the 2006 W³ Awards competition. The Art Institute of Chicago site was honored in the Cultural Institutions category, while the University of Chicago Law School site was honored in the School/University category.
Virtual Kindergarten, an educational Web site and multimedia CD-ROM developed by Palantir, beat out a number of high-profile nominees, including Microsoft Corporation's Student 2006 and Atari's Dora the Explorer: Fairytale Adventures, to win the Codie Award for Best Instructional Solution: Students at Home at the Software & Information Industry Association's annual black-tie awards gala in San Francisco on May 16, 2006.
