At Palantir, we offer a comprehensive benefits package. Full and part time regular employees are eligible for benefits through Palantir on the 1st of the month after the month in which their first day of employment starts.
Palantir offers medical, dental and vision insurance coverage for employees, spouses, domestic partners and/or dependent children available through United Healthcare. Palantir covers 75 – 85% of the total cost of health benefits. Four plan options are available to choose from, all of which are United Health Care Choice Plus PPO plans.
New full time members of the Palantir Team are eligible for 15 days of Paid Time Off annually, and the number of days increases with additional years of service. Paid time off can be used for both vacation and sick time. PTO is accrued throughout the year, as well as advanced at the start of the year/ start of employment.
Team members are encouraged to engage in professional development activities at Palantir. Palantir offers up to 100 hours per year to be used for a variety of professional development opportunities including attending courses, workshops, and conferences as well as writing articles, research, etc.
Flexible Spending Account
Palantir offers a pre-tax flexible spending account to set-aside payroll earnings for out-of-pocket medical expenditures, as well as for dependent care expenses.
We offer a 401K plan to help our employees prepare for retirement. All deferrals are fully vested at the time of enrollment and Palantir offers a matching contribution equal to 100% of the first 3% of compensation elected to defer plus 50% of the next 2%.
Short & Long Term Disability and Workers Comp
Palantir provides short and long term disability coverage to provide assistance in the event of an employee’s illness or injury.
Paid Short Term Leave
A paid short term leave is available and can be used for certain family and medical reasons such as the care of a newborn or newly adopted child of the employee, care of a family member with a serious health condition, and personal medical issues.
We believe in providing a flexible work environment at Palantir. Team members have the option to shift their working hours rather than use PTO when things pop up that require a need to leave early, start late, attend an appointment, etc.
Each department and individual team member at Palantir has a discretionary budget which can be used to help them to be set up for success at Palantir. Budgets can be allotted for things such as additional hardware, costs associated with professional development, and offsetting costs associated with personal workspaces.
